Beginner Agility

Monday nights 6:30 pm-7:30 pm 

Just starting out?  This class will teach the foundational obstacle skills and the handling skills you need to help develop your agility team.  We will safely introduce dogs to all obstacles including open channel weaves and touch plates.  Handlers will learn foundational handling skills including front and rear crosses, as well as introducing distance skills, and directional commands.  Students will stay in this level until the dogs are fluent on all obstacles, and handlers have achieved the skills needed for the novice competition level .  We encourage handlers of all types of dogs to play agility with us.  Dogs and handlers need to be in good physical condition and ready to have fun!

8 week sesson begin: $100.00 per dog/handler

• August 23-September 25th  (this class skips Sept 6th and October 4th)
• November 1st -December 20th

Intermediate Agility

Monday nights at 7:30 pm-8:30 pm 

Our Intermdiate class is for dogs and handlers who have mastered the individual obstacles, and are working on their sequencing skills.  Skills developed in class include learning where and when to use crossing maneuvers, training distance and discrimination work, and closing the channel weaves.  Students will also learn how to perform the various volunteer functions required to run an agility trial.

Entrance into this class is by instructor approval only.
