All Breed Beginner Obedience
March 31st -May 19th 6:45 pm-7:40 pm

8 weeks Join our 8 week class to help improve your dog's manners and basic obedience training.
Our beginner class is suitable for older puppies as well as adult rescues who are just beginning their new lives and their
education. Our skills include sit, down, stay, leave it, come and leash walking. We also discuss behavioral issues
such as separation anxiety, crate training, housebreaking, jumping and nipping as appropriate

Intermediate Obedience March 31-May 19th (8 weeks) 7:45-8:40 pm cost $125.00 This class will help
polish your new skills developed in beginner class. Dogs who have not completed a beginner class (greyhound or all-breed)
with Dancing Dogs will need their instructor’s permission to enter. Dogs should be fluent on sit, down, stand,
and be able to do stays to the length of the leash in both the sit and down position. In this class we will work more
proficient heeling exercises, fluency with both finish exercises and extended recalls (the come command). This class
will also begin teaching you and your dog how to do off leash work, and how to wean off your rewards so that your dog begins
to work for the *promise” of a reward without an incentive immediately available. This class is a great segway
from our beginner 8 week class

Rally Obedience March 31-May 19th (8 weeks) 8:40-9:45 pm $125.00 This class will take your intermediate skills and show you how to use them in the context of Rally
obedience. We will bring out the signs used in the AKC’s Rally Obedience program to familiarize you with the different
maneuvers, cues and rules. ASCA is developing a Rally program, and with these 2 venues, dogs of all breeds will be able
to participate in the Rally program, not just purebreds! Exercises include sit, down and stand stays, right and left
finishes, right left and left about turns, side stepping to the right, serpentine heeling around cones and much much more!
